Pavlev peak is 2667 meters high and is surrounded by steep slopes that descend to the circuses of the Blue Lake and the Black Pole Lakes. Its ridge is dotted with many unstable rock debris. In summer, the peak can be reached from the left side, where there are small trails, but in winter it is necessary to walk along the ridge. Even when there is no snow, there are risks of dangerous situations, as the rock mass is friable and especially when wet it is very unstable.
The hike to Pavlev peak is difficulty and requires a good level of fitness.
