Pirin Mountain is one of the highest and most beautiful mountains in our country. It is located in Southwestern Bulgaria, has a total area of 2582 square kilometers. There are many beautiful peaks, saddles, lakes and other beauties there. Also on the territory of the mountain you can see wonderful vegetation (red bilberry, bearberry, European hoofleaf, snowdrop, lily of the valley, salep, thyme, rosehip) and beautiful animals (wild goat, goldfinch, squirrel, pine marten, wild cat, wolf, fox, squirrels and others). Dzhangal Peak (sometimes Dzhengal) is 2730 meters high and is located in the eastern parts of the Pirin mountain, south of the town of Dobrinishte. The hike to it is of medium difficulty - as it has steep slopes, it takes over 3 hours and is not recommended for children. If you want to see Popovo Lake, Sivriya Peak, Polezhan Peak, Bezbog Hut, Bezbog Peak, Dzhano Peak and other beauties of Pirin, then the walk to Dzhangal Peak is an excellent idea.
